I was honored to attend the Mount Pleasant Purple Heart Day Parade this past weekend to pay tribute to true heroes. On National Purple Heart Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who have been wounded or killed in service to our country. Their sacrifice and courage are the bedrock of our freedoms. Let us never forget their dedication and the price they paid for our nation.
